Biography

Adam is an award-winning performer, director, producer and teacher, and the artistic director of Bad New Days. His work fuses elements of mask, mime, movement, physical theatre, clown and object work to create dynamic, original devised creations. His latest work, the multi-Dora nominated Last Landscape, engages with eco-dramaturgy, exploring a holistic approach to sustainability in theatre creation & practice. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including seven Dora Awards, the Ray Ferris Innovation and Sustainability Grant, and he has toured nationally and internationally. Adam has taught theatre privately for over 20 years and has been a sessional instructor at the University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, Humber College, Soulpepper Academy, and Brock University.

Awards

His work has been recognized with numerous awards. He’s been nominated for 36 Dora Awards, winning 9. He’s been awarded the Ray Ferris Innovation and Sustainability Grant by TAPA, the Urjo Kareda Residency by Tarragon Theatre and he has toured nationally and internationally.
