Aisling Murphy is an MA student at the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Honours BA in Theatre from the University of Ottawa in June 2021. She is the Senior Editor at Intermission Magazine, the Managing Editor at The Fulcrum, and a co-editor of the December 2020 edition of Critical Stages. Aisling's first play, Feast, a verbatim exploration of the work and critical legacy of British playwright Sarah Kane, was workshopped with the Tarragon Young Playwrights Unit in early 2020. A short case study on Feast is featured in Undergraduate Research in Theatre (Routledge, ed. Michelle Hayford). Aisling's research interests include theatre criticism and its pedagogy, multilingual and translated theatre, and theatre archival methodologies.
