Biography : 

Daniel McGuire is a PhD student at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies. He is interested in the complex relationship between applied theatre, arts funding, and cultural policy. This work resists the assumption that the relationship is one-directional and linear, with funders in complete control. 

Daniel is an international arts administrator and theatre practitioner with a decade of experience. He has previously worked with, or presented at, REEL CANADA, Cutting Edge Theatre, Hamilton Fringe, Frost Bites, Craft Scotland, Paprika Festival, TIFF, Ontario Cultural Days, and more.
