Biography

Alisha Grech is a PhD Candidate in the 2020 cohort at the Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies. Previously, they were a part of the 2019-2020 MA Cohort also at the Centre, completing a thesis in a study of Millennial Feminism(s) and Verbatim performance. They are a graduate of Queen’s University for Drama and Philosophy and Yale Summer Sessions for Theatre Direction. Most recently, they have created and directed Talk To Me: An Engagement with Millennial Women, a digital verbatim piece, that can be found on Instagram (@TTM_WHM). Currently, Alisha resides in Toronto where they continue their interests in analyzing contemporary politics, testimony and culture as performative acts.
