Please join us at this extraordinary opportunity to talk to and learn from Nada Ristich, the leading Canadian executive of cultural sponsorship, about the ways in which arts can be funded.
Nada Ristich is Director, Corporate Donations for BMO Financial Group, and is responsible for the overall management of Corporate Donations and Community Affairs for Canada and the United States. She also serves as Secretary to BMO’s Corporate Donations Committee.
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Nada currently serves on the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada (MOCA). She is also a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for voluntary service.
Under her leadership, BMO Financial Group has become a recipient of the Royal Conservatory of Music’s 2019 Honorary Fellows. It is the first corporation to receive this award in recognition of its long history and sustaining support of connecting artists and art organizations with audiences. BMO has also been honoured by many other prestigious awards. In 2014 and 2006, it was a recipient of the Globe and Mail Business for the Arts Award for Most Effective Corporate Program, and in 2013 of the Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Award for Best Corporate Program. In 2007, BMO was presented with the Outstanding Corporation Award by the Association of Fundraising Professional, Greater Toronto Chapter. It has also been recognized by numerous awards in the US.
In 2018, BMO Financial Group contributed $63.5 Million in donations in Canada and the United States to support charities, not-for-profit organizations and community-based programs.
