The student directors of the 2023 Directors’ Showcase at the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto have begun casting for their productions, which will premiere between December 1-3, 2023. There are three productions happening as part of the showcase this year, which are listed below. The auditions will take place on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23.
- Sure Thing written by David Ives and directed by Miriam Sossin;
- The Most Massive Woman Wins written by Madeleine George and directed by Lisha Zhao; and
- The Sound of a Voice written by David Henry Hwang and directed by Xinxian Xu.
The auditions will take place on September 22 and 23, 2023.
