Celebrating student creativity: End-of-term performances shine at CDTPS

The Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies celebrates the achievements of our DRM300 Performance II, DRM400 Advanced Performance and DRM328 Playwriting II classes, who recently held invited public performances at the end of November and beginning of December to showcase their work over the fall term. 

Under the direction of Instructor Ken Gass, DRM300 students performed a series of scenes in the Lower Common Room from contemporary plays and demonstrated remarkable growth, creativity and dedication to their craft. You can view more photos on our Facebook and Instagram

The students from DRM400 closed the term with a full run-through of scenes from Witch by Jen Silverman in the Performance Studio. Students from DRM328, led by acclaimed playwright and instructor Djanet Sears, featured staged readings in the Playhouse of short excerpts from original works—each piece reflecting a passion for storytelling. Read the DRM328 program
