Biography
Ariel Martin-Smith is the Manager, Theatre Operations at the Centre. After graduating from the University of Toronto (BA English & Drama; MA English) Ariel worked professionally as a stage manager, primarily in opera, for companies such as the Canadian Opera Company, The Royal Conservatory, Opera Philadelphia, and Against the Grain Theatre. From 2015-2019, she was the Orchestra and Opera Manager of the Glenn Gould School (GGS) at The Royal Conservatory, where she oversaw the production of all GGS orchestra and opera performances. Ariel stage managed many performances at the Centre as an undergraduate and graduate student, and is excited to return as a staff member.
