Suture a short film by Snezana Pesic

The short film Suture by CDTPS faculty member Snezana Pesic has been selected to be screened at this year's Toronto Independent Film Festival.
 
Snezana’s directorial film debut Suture is inspired by her costume design research on contemporary body modifications. Rendered with playful curiosity and devoid of judgement, Suture investigates the longing for a new external self to mirror an ideal inner self, arriving at a conclusion that is equal parts troubling and transcendent.
 
CDTPS Alumina Abby Esteireiro takes credits for assistant costume designer and editor.
 
The film will be screened within Shorts Block 3.
