Description

The Art of Pedagogy series invites faculty and students to engage in a lively conversation about the pedagogy of the creative process. We see pedagogy as more than the method and practice of teaching: it is a slippery, precarious and relational live art. This series invites participants to reflect on the art of pedagogy in these times, and their own situated and embodied experiences of teaching, learning and becoming in rehearsal and classroom environments.

Each session will be facilitated by Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Christine Balt, who will scaffold the exploration of the day’s theme with a sequence of panels, discussions and creative activities.

Event dates for the whole series: October 6, 2023, November 17, 2023 and Feb 16, 2024
