Description

Chronically is a short projection exploration performance, that has been created throughout the year. There will be two performances on Thursday, April 18. The first happening at 3 pm and the second at 7pm

Co-Creators: Nicole Eun-Ju Bell and Lauren Lacey
Stage Manager: Oriana Di Nucci

Synopsis:

There once was a girl
who was very sick
And one day she went
Into her bedroom
And didn’t come out
For a very long time

Girl sits alone in her room, time passes unremarked. She conjures a shadow who replays her memories and sometimes keeps her company.

Chronically is a poetic piece about invisible chronic illness, it explores how time passes when time is unfilled and how stillness and silence are experienced in the process. In this workshop, co-creators Lauren and Nicole seek to illuminate the experience through projections by experimenting with distortion of live video and body mapping.

Please note that this space will not be wheelchair accessible.
