Description

Two young women recount stories from their childhood friendship and negotiate the circumstances of the relationship’s demise. As they debate the impact they’ve had on one another, the girls tell stories of immigration, entitlement and how hard it can be to sail a boat. This bittersweet meta-theatrical two-hander explores the importance of a person’s first friend.

This is a staged reading of I’ll Miss You a Little written by Micaela Robertson. This play was initially produced for the 2016 Paprika Festival. There will be a talkback and discussion with snacks after the reading.

friends from Highschool is Micaela Robertson, Bradley Gira, Nikki Watson, Beka Morrison, Frosina Pejcinovska, Leslie Durward, Margaret Rose, Taranjot Bamrah, Jacob Kay and William Dao. They are so thankful for the opportunity to present and workshop one of Mick’s plays.
