The CDTPS announces two new scholarships for Black, Indigenous, and other racialized students

February 22, 2021 by Tara Maher

In response to being called to task by our alumni, undergraduate and graduate students to confront and address a history of systemic racism, over the past few months we have been working towards making our Centre a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive space for students, faculty, and staff.

Our latest initiative, which we now have the pleasure to share with our community, is the creation of two new undergraduate scholarships to be awarded to Black, Indigenous, and other racialized students upon acceptance into a Specialist or Major Drama program. Each of these scholarships has a value of up to $7,500 per year and is renewable for up to 3 years.

We will soon post the application form for these scholarships.
