CDTPS PhD Candidate Ilana Khanin was recently an artist-in-residence at Baryshnikov Arts Center as part of BAC Open. The work, SHOT LIST, was presented at a studio showing on November 17, 2023.
SHOT LIST Synopsis: A mother publishes a harrowing wartime memoir. Her daughter tries to reconcile the recollections. A stranger enters their lives. And somewhere else, two actors make a movie. A new play about adapting humanity’s most horrific stories.
About the program:
This esteemed residency program provides artists and groups with space for creative investigation, culminating in a public work-in-progress presentation. During their residencies, artists receive use of studio space, honoraria, and technical and administrative support.
