Non-Curricular Booking (May – August only)
If your booking is for work related to a CDTPS course you are currently enrolled in, or for ongoing research related to graduate/faculty work, please fill out the 2024-25 CDTPS curricular booking form.
Current students and faculty may be eligible to use studio space over the summer (May – August) depending on space availability. Bookings must be related to current research and/or a production in which the person making the booking is producing or directing. After 20 hours, internal booking rates will apply. If there are two or more CDTPS students working together as producers/directors on a single production (i.e., a Fringe show), that production may book up to 30 hours total. After 30 hours, internal booking rates will apply.
***Please note that failure to follow the rules outlined below will result in an immediate loss of booking privileges.***
Booking Policies
- Bookings must be for rehearsals produced/directed by current CDTPS students/faculty.
- These bookings are not for public events.
- Bookings should be made at least 48 business hours in advance.
- Your booking is not official until you receive confirmation email.
- You are responsible for confirming your booking has been correctly input on RSS Lite after you receive your confirmation.
- You are responsible for the space you book. Leave the space clean, with all furniture returned to its original arrangement, and close and lock all doors and windows.
- Keys must be returned immediately after your booking. A $20.00 charge will apply for any keys not returned and you may not be able to make future reservations.
- You may not share any access codes given to you as part of your booking to anyone.
- Bookings are for use by CDTPS students and faculty. Use of our facilities cannot be transferred.
- You are required to be present whenever space is booked in your name.
- Failure to follow these rules will result in a loss of booking privileges.
Book a space: May – August
- Check if the room is available on RRS Lite (login: dramaguest | password: guest)
- If the room is available, request permission to book the space using the 2025 Summer booking form.
- When approved, you will be informed about room access and orientation. If you do not hear from someone within two to five business days, contact Ariel Martin-Smith.
Curricular Booking Policies, September – April
***During the academic year (September-April) our rehearsal spaces are reserved for current students and faculty who require space for CDTPS curricular/ co-curricular projects.***
All undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty in the Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies may apply to book facilities for course-related work using the Student and Faculty Space Booking form during the academic year. If you are an alumni, or an outside group interested in renting our spaces, please contact Ariel Martin-Smith.
